Bingo Volunteers - 2010-2011

Congratulations and thank you very much!

Hi, I am Matt Ghiloni and will be starting out the new year of 2009 (with the help of my better half, Dee) as the new coordinator for Newark Catholic Bingo.  I am attempting to replace the irreplaceable Roger Stollard and can only hope that I do half as good of a job that he has done in the last 10 years.  I ask for your patience, and above all your support, (especially in volunteer hours).

Special Instructions: If you have a scheduling conflict please work out a trade with someone as your first course of action. Then follow that up with notifying your captain.  However, you can contact me, Matt Ghiloni anytime with any questions or concerns via email at ghilonimd@columbus.rr.com

In order for bingo to continue to be successful and for tuition to remain at a minimum, parents must report according to the posted schedules.  If you have a conflict, work out a trade with someone and then notify your captain. If you are not on a team or scheduled to work, contact one of the captains for your class. An average of fourteen workers per session is desirable so please get on a team if you haven't already. Don't wait until the end of the school year and expect to make up your hours because that won't be possible. We learned from last year that too many people showing up in March, April, and May was unproductive and not fair to those who worked earlier in the school year.

Bingo is the most successful fund raiser for the school. Proceeds from this fund raiser for the last eight years has been successful due to active participation and aggressive instant sales. It is easily recognizable that the teams that average fourteen to sixteen members produce more money. Bingo has kept your tuition at a minimum so if you're not on a team or scheduled, get on board. You'll have fun; Matt guarantees it!

The online schedule is not an official record of volunteer hours which you have worked.  It is intended as a reminder of your scheduled days.  You must still sign in with your captains to receive credit for your volunteer service.
